oh my gosh. So yesterday was completely amazing. :o) It was the first day of Deaf Awareness Days for Signers Club. Me and KT got to be Deaf for a Day. And of course we helped around the tables and stuff all day. It was soo much fun. Ithink I signed more yesterday than I have all semester. :/ lol. Which was good. We both needed it. But me and KT also were reminded how dumb we are... lol. Patrick sent us up at like 630 to set up for Game night at 7. Now, me and KT had never been to a game night. But, Patrick didn't know that. (our fault). So we went down and set up the games we knew about, which, weren't many. lol. Then Patrick comes up later and he's like, where are all the games from the drawer in the office? Me and KT just looked at each other, and we're like, huh? And then we felt horrible b/c the fun games weren't there. Well, not all of them. lol. We're dumb. So yeah. Today is day 2. I'm excited.
I'm also excited b/c I get to sign my song for my ASL class. And as I was practicing this morning and I had it almost perfect I was like, woot, I can't wait now. lol. I'm signing "Love of my Life" by Michael W. Smith. :o) I love it. It's such a pretty song, and it reminds me of Someone, and it's beautiful signed. :o) Soo excited. lol.
Yeah, so I'm also thinkin I may just stay here at Lakeland another year. Depending on what money Kent gives me. But I think I may wanna stay anyway. I finally have amazing friends with KT and Patrick, I'm involved in Signers, and I love the group. And since Lakeland does offer a lot more ASL classes I can stay here, get the classes cheaper, and stay with the group a lil longer. Assuming I'd get re-elected. lol. I think I have to be. Well, I guess technically I'm not getting re-elected. B/c I wasn't elected the first time. I was appointed. But in fall they have to have elections. But I really don't see any reason why I wouldn't. So yeah, I might still be here next year. And honestly, I have no problem with that. Jess'll be gone, so I don't mind bein at home. It's cheaper for me and my parents. I can work and save more money, maybe be more likely to get a car. Which would be nice. So yeah. We'll see what happens. Whereever God wants me is where I'll go. :o)
Alright, well, it's just about time for Deaf Awareness Days -Day 2. woot! So I'm gonna head down there. But I'll ttyl!
