ugh, this isn't gonna be a happy post.. just to let you know in advance...

first- keep Mr. Colvenbach's family/friends in your prayers... a completely amazing music teacher that was yet another victim of a drunk driving accident. He wasn't even 40 yet, he left behind a wife and 2 of his own kids, plus all his students. 5-10 year olds taht now have to learn about how to deal with a horrible death like this of a teacher they loved. There are a lot of people who owe their musical achievements to him.
They have the lady who did it, her blood-alcohol level was almost twice the legal limit. The only thing that sucks is that unless they can prove w/o a doubt that he would've survived had she not hit him (he was in another accident right before she hit him-for those that don't know the story) she will more than likely get off with a slap on the wrist thanks to our oh so amazing drunk driving laws. (note: that was completely sarcastic, lol). ugh.

second- keep both my grampa's in your prayers. My dad's dad just had hernia surgery yesterday morning down in akron. And then my uncle (my mom's oldest bro) called last night to tell us that him and one of my other uncles are taking my grampa (their dad) into the hospital this morning to have a blood transfusion. Apperently he went to have some tests done yesterday for his diabetes and prostate issues, and litterally everything was low. He had low white blood cells, red blood cells, platlets, hemoglobin... pretty much everything that could be low, was low. Like extremely low. Like we don't know how on earth he was even functioning. Which could indicate a lot of things. A Now, since most of you don't know my grampa wampleman, he's incredibly stubborn. Like, he won't go to the doctor for anything, he won't ever let anyone help him. So apperently my uncle randy (the oldest one) talked to my grampa, and my grampa was planning on taking himself to the hospital this morning, then driving himself home after the 6 hr transfusion. So my 2 uncles, Randy and David, are going to be at his house before he leaves this morning, and trick him and make him let them take him. Because there is no way he can do it by himself.

Third- please keep my uncle randy (same one as above), and his family in your prayers. He lost his job a few months back, and so has my cousin Pamela's (his daughter) husband tommy. So Pam and Tommy and their 3 month old daughter Kaydence are living with my aunt and uncle for the time being. Pamela luckily went back to work already, and my aunt is still working. But it's still a strain. And Tommy's and Uncle Randy's unemployment pay is almost done. So they have to find something fairly quickly.

So yeah... my extended family is going through a lot right now. And after finding out about my grampa last night, my mom's been stressing out b/c she hasn't had any time to go over there to see them in a while, and with work she can't help today at all... so yeah... it's not a fun time.

Keep us all in your prayers. It'd be greatly appreciated.
