Debunking
Apparently the part time position I was going for that they posted will not be filled. They told me that the hiring freeze continues on and basically they will rely on on-call people to fill the shift if needed.
I'm thinking of looking at jobs outside of the hospital, which is a shame because I have been here for so long and really love my job. I could also just get my CNA like Steph did and work in a more patient involved department. I think I might just do that even tho I would rather stay transport.
The itch for school is too much not to venture to other departments for a real position so that I have insurance and the hospital will reimburse me. The other choice I have is to stay on-call and rely on the fact I made close to nothing last year get me financial aid for school funds.
I am tired of waiting for school.
Al tho I do not regret going back to Michigan, I know that I would be 1000x better off financially and education wise without the trip. but I guess soul searching has its costs, and it was probably worth it.
We got the house we were looking at. The perfect one with cheap rent (yay!) that has a back deck as big as our current living room and kitchen combined. Were looking at deck furniture as well as a fire pit for marshmallows and hot dogs. Pretty much excited about that, plus I'll be able to DDR to my hearts content. I am actually very happy that at the age of 24 i can still say that with a smile, yay for not loosing the child inside me :)
PS: almost forgot, BSG 4.5 Premier tonight! WOOO!
