Starving Artistry
I hate that I am indecisive and picky.
You see, I'm an actor. Basically, this means I won't ever have a steady job. Unless I'm REALLY good. And it doesn't help that I have turned down four job offers in the past three weeks. But, I have my reasons and that's that.
So, when you ask me, "What are you doing when you graduate?"
I'm going to have to say, "I don't know."
I do know that I am going to Spring Awakening auditions on Sunday in Chattanooga. And I do know that I'm going to a whole schlew of unified auditions in June for theatres in Seattle and Portland and Boston and Philly. And I do know that wherever I end up, there WILL be a handful of Starbucks, so help me God.
In other news, Ellen Page was a huge disappointment on SNL. Penelope was a lame movie with pretty clothes. James McAvoy is the most overlooked actor of today (see him in Rory O'Shea, Narnia, Starter for 10, and Penelope and just TRY to tell me he's not the most versatile actor we've got) and I will also be marrying him tonight at 7PM if you'd like to be a witness. Janet Jackson's "Feedback" single is the hotness, I don't care WHAT you say! Lastly, Polenta. Tried it finally. Loved it. Int'resting.
And I'm off to the Flying Biscuit.
