whee! i did it!
okay, so as you may or may not know, i've been knitting. i know, i know. what's a 26 year old girl like me doing knitting? i like it, what can i say?
anyway, i took it upon myself to knit a couple of scarves as christmas gifts for my younger cousins, hayley and hannah. i just love these girls, they're in 5th and 3rd grade (i'm 95% sure of that, lol). so i got some yarn, and started knitting a couple of weeks ago. i just finished hannah's scarf about an hour ago! i'm really happy.
so i thought i'd share some pics with you wonderful people. looky at what i can do!
first, a pic of what the yarn is like up close - fun and fuzzy and sparkly!
and here's hannah's scarf - my interpretation of the skinny fashion scarves that are so popular right now.
and finally hayley's scarf - a little wider/shorter than hannah's.
okay, proceed with the praise and adoration! lol... maybe not, but i'm pretty happy with what i did. i hope the girls like them just as much as i do!
well, i'm on vacation... so i hope everyone has a very merry christmas/happy hanukkah/anything else you might celebrate, and a happy new year. incidentally, i will probably be in the central NY area for new years eve... just thought i'd put that out there... if anyone cares... ;)
time for sleep. must shop tomorrow.
