For Liz's birthday, I bought her tickets to see Britney Spears last night (her idol, I'm not kidding you). The only stipulation was that she had to bring me. :) It was sooooooooooo much fun! I haven't listened to her/that kind of music in a long time. I sure as heck missed shaking my bootay. :) The Pussycat Dolls opened, and then there was two hours of Britney goodness. The show was her Circus theme...perfect in every way! It had the dark freaky bohemian Houdini burlesque Moulin Rouge-esque feel, and I loved it. A bit more "grown up", but wonderful.
Look, it's Britney!
Getting our sweat on... (this angle is so flattering...I look like a man...nice.)
I decided last minute that we'd go to Shogun's on Main Street for sushi before the show.
Near the end of the show. The whole thing was freaking sweet!
Liz and I were waiting for a cab at the Central Pointe train station. It was desereted, downpouring, and late. We entertained ourselves.
I'll have to edit this journal later, add more pictures, and write all about the concert once I'm not so tired. I took something like 150 pictures. K, tired, going to bed now!
