Using the Store

Yesterday I checked out my finances, and I saw that they are much tighter than I anticipated. Between buying myself a laptop [for when I start school up again SOON!], my plane ticket home, gas for the road trip home, meals, clothes for the trip home since I needed nice garb for the venue, and then groceries back here, a vision appointment, and a dental appointment, the credit card has more than I'd like on it. I make large payments so my card is nearly always at $0, but right now it's far, far away. Sometimes I build up my savings to pay on to my card or loans, but I decided I really want to keep the cushion. Good thing I've decided against any joy trip in the near future, because going back to school is far more important to me. I won't be able to have enough to pay for my semester up front by the time I'd like to, but it's alright.

In an effort to save some moolah faster, I decided against grocery shopping for anything major, and just buying weekly produce. I've built up enough supply over the months that I probably have enough food for nearly two months. I have my kitchen cupboard stocked with healthier foods, and I have a pantry shelf in my room with food for emergencies, like my food storage. I decided to take an inventory of what I have so I can look through it and put some meals together. Maybe someone else has some meal ideas, too.
