my amazing powers of quiet suggestion have payed off and i'm now Employee of the Month at the Rochester Hills Borders. A $20 gift card and a lifetime of being the fallback Cafe closer is what i get. Thank god for those small victories, hm?
I like the holidays, the Talking Heads, and good cheer. In truth, I'm surprisingly happy lately. Made up with a friend, made some new friends, just feel...good. Lately it's like some essential part of my personality finally cemented itself down with some core values and perspective. and a sense of humor. I discovered my sense of humor. This is the kind of self discovery that makes people want to come back after dying.
