We went for a hike
I don't seem to get around the computer much anymore. That's a good thing, but I get way behind on reading posts, and I seem to have NO time to comment. Oh, and I missed a birthday!!

But guess what I did get to do today?! For the first time in MONTHS, my schedule, and a certain someone's schedule meshed, nobody was sick, the weather was fantastic, and we got a hike in with the dogs! It was fabulous. Of course, there aren't any pictures, so you'll just have to take our word for it that we really *did* hike and didn't, in fact, actually sneak off to a Starbucks. The hill was just as steep as I remembered and the dogs had settled down by about half way up the hill. It is hilarious to watch the boy dogs run zoomies on the cut banks along the road. I think Naomi has an old video somewhere of it, but it makes me laugh every time I watch them. It was a perfect day to catch up and let the dogs run off leash.
