past few days have been fun-fun. met the lovely shion thursday, and went shopping in the OH SO AZN flushing, queens.

shion and eye hate fake flowers. :(

played xenosaga and were total girls. i bought a dress that i later put to good use over jeans 'n sneaks at little steven's underground garage music festival on saturday.

i woke up at 8 instead of 6 like i was supposed to, so i had to call nick and jump in and out of the shower. i got lucky and got out of the shower just as nick arrived, and then sped through everything else (my dad was late anyway).

we watched dead zone in the car.

got there and were dropped off, so we stayed by the gate and watched the SCENESTERS pile up. then we found shion. went inside and there was just one big stage, and for the first few hours a lot of shitty (and some ok) bands played. my ears were blown because we were so close to the stage, eventually we walked back and got free iced lattes and grazed in the grass for the next few hours. we went back to the stage periodically, went back for the mooney suzuki but eventually i started to get lightheaded so we sat down n got FRENCH FRIEZ and listened to bo diddley rap about his "stuff".

then the raveonettes came on after a time-stretched introduction, but they only played two songs because of hurricane charlie. :( attack of the ghost riders and that great love sound. sharin foo is hot.

we didn't sit back down after that. after that was i think the pretty things, and maybe some other bands, but i think after that it was just the new york dolls and the strokes and the stooges. these two drunk guys kept talking to teresa and eye, and offered us their fake cigarette.

the dolls were good, the strokes were fun. these two girls next to us were dancing. they were hardcore. and iggy pop brought the dead crowd 2 LYFE. he has a pale ass.

after the show nick bought a generic concert shirt and we left and walked around in the drizzle for a while until we found shion's dad. he drove us to penn station and nick and i walked around trying to find sustenance. eventually our train came, and then we got a cab home. eye crashed. and now i'm here. still sunburned and still wiped.
