I really have nothing to add to this but that I agree. IE is still on my computer, but I haven't got the faintest clue when I last used it.

Oh I know babe, I KNOW! I LOVE Firefox, however Yahoo! is partnered with IE so when IE doesn't work my widgets don't work for some random reason. Also I do online surveys that only work in IE and I have bills that can only be paid in IE.

I wish they would just accept the string and give it up to FF. Someday soon...

Did IE cut you off mid-entry?

As for advice, check your Hijackthis log for unusual BHOs and stuff in the "09" section (extra buttons and stuff). And, uh, try to get those updates.

The last time I did a major update it totally wiped out my itunes! And it's a known problem! I don't know why it happens so I just don't run the updates.

I hate IE7 with a passion I thought would be unable to deepen after IE6.

I have no advice - I cannot figure out IE7 at all!!! And as far as I can tell, no one can. Trying to ask for help with glitches for IE7 on various tech boards is like posing zen koans: there is no answer, it just stands as a reflection upon the unanswerable.

So sorry you're stuck having to try to get it to work: I have to with some stuff, too, and it is mind-boggling how much frustration some of these companies will make their customers go through just to do business.

I finally got it to work. Found out that my expired copy of Norton anti-virus software was blocking everything up so I just uninstalled it, and everything worked like a charm.

I hate IE sooo much.
