WARNING: Emo Approaching!

May 18, 2007 17:22

I have been through emotional hell and back and this blog is going to be emo central pretty soon.  I'm talking slam, spoken word, lyrical nonsense, theme poetry, maybe even some pics and polls.  Who knows what the night will bring?

To prereward you for putting up with my emotional crap, I thought I would take a moment to share with you the best thing you will ever see in your entire online lives.  EVER!

Ask Elizabeth.

First, all gratitude and kudos to the most lovely of all seals Caribbean Monk Seal who graced me with those most awesome find. If you choose to share this with others, the full line of acknowledgement must be recognized, for it is truly a wonderfully awesome thing.

Ask Elizabeth is a project started by Jessie Spano Elizabeth Berkley Lauren to empower girls and give them more self esteem.

Let's take a tour shall we?

Upon pressing the enter button (that shows you Elizabeth Berkley Lauren cares from her heart) we enter into the true mind and thoughts of the teenage girl.  The epicenter of her emotional journey is shown to us in a thrilling introduction.

I'm also loving how this is supposed to be indicative of girl diaries.  Oddly I think this is more akin to the diary of Ted Kaczinski, though maybe not so pink?

The front page shows us several sections where we can explore the world of Mrs. Berkley-Lauren as represented by Sanrio and Lisa Frank.  Pretty Apropos.

The locket of loading shines and twinkles while taking us to our first destination!

Yeah...

What did she "write" instead of London?

When you move your mouse over the heart it becomes a notepad page filled with loving "facts" about our philanthropist.  You can play with the Elizabeth angel, or move around the Hello Kitty...mabob.  Then drag and scroll the star to see eve more wonderful tales about this successful Hollywood star.

Wow, I felt dirty typing that.

On the side we notice several coming soon options such as pink pages and merchandise.

We leave the bio sections and decide to take a trip to see 4. What Girls are Saying

When the girls aren't laughing or praying, here's what they're saying:

"One thing I enjoyed was how everyone was openminded.  Everyone shared their feelings because they trusted you."  Even though they'd only known you for fifteen minutes and would only interact with you for one eight hour day!  Looks like it's time to change the will... again.

ps.  It will be a cold day before I believe any of those girls wrote that crap.

You also have the option of contacting Elzabeth and "asking" her about... something.

I decided to drop Lizzie a line, but then I felt badly and didn't press send, darn CMS!

Next we find out about Jessie's "Mission"

Evidently her mission includes getting really close to other girls faces and making them touch each other.  Yeah, I have nothing else to say, though I'm loving the display of diversity!

Seriously, how did Showgirls still happen with these strong, nurturing women at Elizabeth's helm?  HOW?!  I guess I can't complain, it's a fun movie, and there's nothing like Spano boob IMO.  NOTHING.

Elizabeth Berkley Lauren wants you to know that she cares and totally understands you.  And that everything will be okay, if you simply Ask-Elizabeth.

Well done Jessie, well done.
