How Smart Is Your Right Foot?
1. While sitting at your desk, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles with it.
2. Now, while doing this, draw the number "6" in the air with your right hand.
Your foot will automatically change direction
"Most" can't do it because the left side of your brain controls the right side of your body. However reading and writing are a distinct function of the right side of your brain. Scientists believe that there is a short circuit that occurs when the motor functions interact with reading and writing (i.e. why most folk cant sign their name with both hands). So if your brain is telling your foot to go this way --------->, and then the right brain chimes in with reading/writing, then your right foot will naturally go <------- that way to match your right hand since it is controled by the overpowering right brain function.
I can do the pat your head and rub your tummy thing, but this kills me.
