Small batch, awesome stuff.
Ingredients
- 2 fresh eggs separated
- 1/4 cup sugar separated into 2 8ths
- 1/2 cup white rum
- 1/2 cup bourbon
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup heavy/whipping cream separated into 2 4ths
- nutmeg
Directions
- Separate egg yolks from whites into separate bowls
- Beat yolks with 1/8ths cup of sugar, set aside
- Beat whites until stiff, then mix in other 8th cup of sugar
- Pour yolks INTO whites and mix together SLOWLY
- Stir in white rum slowly
- Stir in milk slowly
- Stir in bourbon slowly
- Stir in 1/4 cup of cream slowly
- Whip remaining 1/4 cup of cream
- Fold whipped cream into mixture CAREFULLY
- Serve at room temperature with fresh ground nutmeg
