Why I am not allowed to be a hippie... sort of
Hey guys, it's apparently been 9 weeks since I last updated!!
but I decided that today I have something worthwhile to write about...
TODAY: Leaving my house late, I lept onm y bike and began my high speed bike ride to work... but being me and the world being against me, I biked for about 2 minutes and then plummeted off my bike into the hard cement below...
Now Don't fret... for I ALWAYS wear a helmet, and i didn't hot my head. I did however recieve a HUGE bruise on my left thigh... and road rash in two places on both my foot and my hand (left).... But worst of all...
So Biked off to work, calling in to let them know that I had fallen and that I was going to be late... arrived at work and opened and then popped over to see teh walk in clinic, which of course was busy. I asked approximatly what time I would get in (45mins) and went back to work. After the allotted time I went back to find that it was even busier :( Asked for a new time (30 mins) and left. I then returned 25 mins later, only to be yelled at by the receptionsit, because apparently my turn came and 'I wasn't there and she waited a long time but I never came"... heaven forbid I was at work! So after finally getting in to see the doctor (Dr. Donna Lee) I find out that I may have potentially broken my thumb bone, and that I need to get an x-ray...
Sad thing is that I don`t actually have time to go and get an x-ray and when I can go they`re closed, and the hospital is riddled with some comtagius thingy right now, and I don;t really feel like catching it :(
*sigh* Lunch time came, so I ran over to Bubby Rose's to buy lunch, I ordered everything and went to pay, but my bank card was repeatedly refused :( after apolagizing and promising to be back, I ran across the road to the RBC and checked my balance on teh ATM, sure enough I have money, so then I go to draw out $20 dollars and it says that I have no money!!!! Tired and in pain I run inside teh back, see Natasha and exclaim "NATASHA IT SAYS THAT I HAVE MONEY BUT THEN IT WON'T LET ME TAKE ANY OUT BECAUSE I APPARENTLY DON'T HAVE ANY!!!!!!!!" [by this time I was pretty much in tears]
SP natasha looks at my account, and apparently they have put a hold on my pay check and I have to wait until tuesday until I can access it.
So now my account is fucked up and I have to somehow find time to fix it... but I dont even have time for my x-ray....
....but wait all stories have some what of a happy ending right?
Natasha evaded the hold and gave me $20 dollars, so that I could buy my lunch... which was (by the way) delicious!!
[bathroom break]
So then I get home and attempt to go on my laptop, only to find that the wireless refuses to connect, so after many hours of fiddling and almost crying and attepts to reach teh help desk and schemes to attack Future Shop tomorrow, My dad finds this manual that talks about some button or switch on the front of my laptop...
Sure enough I find teh switch and turn it and BAMBAMBAM my wireless is back!!!!
So that my friends is my worthwhile LJ cause!
