couilly_poof, has also found a job at Sears. I can tell you that training ends after your first two or three weeks -- even given ten-hour weeks like mine -- so pay close attention now. Selling credit and gift cards is especially important, since it determines who gets kept on after the holiday season, so talk to your trainer and co-workers about your sales pitch. Otherwise, YAY
As for myself, I'm getting quarter-time. It's nice that I'm easing into work again instead of immediately being hit with 40-hour weeks...but paychecks of $100 a week (commissions included) won't be enough to cover my old medical bills, even if I get to keep my food stamps. (I'll see about that tomorrow...my phone is out of minutes again, ho-hum.) On the other hand, my supervisor is very friendly, this 19-year-old with piercings and tatoos who is le tinies...so if I can just get my credit pitch down, getting more hours during the holiday rush shouldn't be a problem. So, YAY
