Introducing the gang to yummy rotis with curry, sambal, and chickpea sauces.
A meal for the six of us with drinks came to ~30 ringgit, which is what... Cad $10
While we had to drive eastward to hit our last stop, we spent most of this day driving north up the coast toward Kuantan, a city of no import other than being a good way to break up the drive. Not much to do here other than find a place to stay and eat.
We saw this sign, and just had to stop and eat here. We finally clued in to how cheap blended fresh fruit drinks are in Malaysia (even cheaper than Thailand), and we probably had about 3 drinks for $0.70 apiece. To this day, we still haven't figured out what the restaurant's "gear box" offering means. [Update: "gear box" is the name of a local soup boiled from the knee joint of a cow, betcha can't find that at boring ol' Planet Hollywood]
