I did start the fire, and now look what's happened.

For an article this week I had to interview a Billy Joel impersonator. So I looked online, last week, and found loads in America. Emailed the first couple and waited to hear back from them. Days passed, still nothing. So I grew anxious and emailed and called every single one I could find. I ended up leaving messages for men who can sing a bit like Billy Joel all across the new world. Eventually one very nice chap got back to me and the article got writ in the very nick of time. And now that the deadline has passed, I am being bombarded by all the Billy Joels, saying they are waiting by their phones and that they would like to be in the newspaper very, very much. One even wrote

Good luck with the piece in the event you do find someone else.
Don’t worry, I’m getting used to women choosing other men over me.
