The rest is kinda crap, but I really like that. Did you purposefully make it a 'her'?

i didn't write it, but i assume the writer did intend such,
why is the rest crap?

i do try when using "subject" to use both gender references,
Leary experimented with things like heshe, and others i don't like to use them because they seem akward at times.

when it comes to consumption, i have found it easier to just consume less, instead of placing moral values on the whats/whys of consumption. having lived with little income for so long, i naturally have had to detach myself from consumption as much as possible.

that's what *i* find hypocritical - ppl who consume only non-meat/fair-trade/organic/non-walmart/whatever products often think this action is superior, but the fact is, you are still consuming, someone/something somewhere is being exploited. but maybe that is just me...

and btw, not all christians believe in the possibility of freedom from sin... look at the catholics! every prayer/ritual emphasizes we are eternal sinners even up to the moment we die. :P

i feel that i'd rather eat meat out of a dumpster then pay for vegetables in the store.
i also agree that most things within our grasp ultimately lie within the system and constraints of that system, to try and minimize your impact by limiting your consumption choices is to live a lie, more of how, less of what.

riot not diet?
