I am so excited that I just have to do something wild and crazy and actually update my lj! Here goes!
-I was kinda crazy and decided to get tickets for the Great Big Sea show in Victoria in March even though I have already saw them twice in December.
tabslock can't go with me 'cause she has to work, but I just found out information that will absolutely assure that nina will go with me, even if she doesn't know it yet. That information?
Spirit of the West will be opening for GBS! Nina loves Spirit of the West! Eeeee! Also, Leanne has agreed to help pay for nina's ticket and portion of the hotel as my birthday present, so really nina has no choice but to say yes, heh heh. (Barring of course a really really good reason she couldn't, but it would have to be really really really important)
-Last week (last Thursday to be exact) I went to the pet store and got 4 new female mice. Their names are Gypsy, Ginger, Belle and Bree, and they are very very cute. Bree and Gypsy are the friendliest so far, Ginger tolerates handling and Belle is still pretty skittish. The exciting thing about these mice though, is that even though I got them from this pet store because it separates it's males from the females, my little Bree has been looking very very pear shaped starting about 2 days ago! And what does a pear shaped mouse mean? It means lots of teeny tiny pink mousey babies on the way! I am so excited! (and nervous too, I hope everything goes well) I called the pet store and they will take any unwanted babies so I don't have to worry about what to do with the little boys, but I intend to keep at least some of the girls depending on how many she has. Eeeeee!
-And on a productive note, I submitted my application for UBC! Wish me luck!
Now I should get to bed so that I can get up early tomorrow and buy tickets for the Juno Cup, which is a hockey game between musicians and pro hockey players that will be taking place the day after the GBS concert and is featuring two of the members of GBS!
