(no subject)
Random bits from today:
-The women's beach volleyball team from Brazil had "BRA" written across the front of their tops (the men's beach volleyball had BRA on their backs, but that was less amusing)
-I forgot my phone at work. Fortunately I am working tomorrow. Also fortunately it is on silent, so if people called or texted me tonight then it wouldn't have disturbed anyone.
-I heard an awesome joke about a chicken, which I will probably be telling to people from now on. It's reliant on sounds to be funny though, otherwise I would tell it here
-takeout from the mongolian grill is yummersons
-I totally raided the disney soundtracks of the people I am pig-sitting (guinea pigs, that is) for
-our ceiling isn't very interesting
-I think I saw a meteor. It's hard to tell with all the light pollution though. One of the few times that I wish I were still living in chilliwack, where I could go walk into a field or convice someone to drive to a nice dark spot where the meteor shower could be seen. I would take a walk over to a park nearby to see if I have any better luck there, but I am alone and don't have my cellphone so that's probably not such a good idea. I'll probably go stand outside again in a while and see if I can see any more. Stupid streetlights.

-David Hyde Pierce was in a broadway musical called "Curtains" (ok, this is really a random bit from yesterday when I found the soundtrack at the library, but I am just listening to it now)
ETA: I did go back outside later and saw a big meteor flash right away! It was awesome. I saw a few more before deciding it was too cold and going back inside.
