Dear Friends,
A quick update before I head off to work and a weekend full of wonderfulness. Christine is right, no one ever updates unless something's gone horribly wrong in their lives and they want to vent/rant about it. But, so far as I know, everything is hunky dory with my life, so I'll update just to make other people want to puke at my happiness. :P
Got a new and somewhat better work schedule, this one actually has me working, and now I don't think I'll get that second job after all. Planning for Awakening is going great still, I love the planning, the running of the meetings is a little frightening though, thank goodness I've got my Jessica to back me up! Reading Frogs also seems to be getting underway, if all goes well we should have our first outing next Friday. Our Renew group was amazing, there were only 3 people besides me and Leah and we were all immediately comfortable enough to share our faith and goof off when the moment called for it. Excellent.
Today is our last Fall Overnight ever. I'm caught between being superdepressed and superexcited. Mostly the latter luckily. And Jessica turns the big 2 1 at midnight, so we're planning on not sleeping and watching the sun rise on the pier. Saturday we're celebrating for real.
So, now aren't you jealous of me? I knew it. Don't worry, I still love you all.
