Thank you all for your healing thoughts. Mimoko goes in for surgery on Sept 12... It will be expensive, yes, but if it takes care of the problem, then it's worth it. Hopefully that financial aid comes in soon...
She will most likely be deaf in that ear, and well, she never had much grace so I don't think she'll miss it.
Although her ear is really nasty looking, she's still as playful as ever. Yesterday she was walking around looking all lost, then she spotted her carrier and went right over to fetch her mouse that I had put in there a long time ago. We played fetch for an hour and she enjoyed sliding around on our abundant hardwood floors.
Well, I think pet insurance will be a good investment...
