He'll probably be really happy to be invited but act like he doesn't care.

No, it's just how he works. Sometimes he'll show it, but if he wants something he'll usually say it isn't cool and doesn't want it. Then I know he does.

He really likes wizards, so he probably wouldn't want to look all fanboyish or something.
