*********
Chris was nursing the same drink he had when the guy had walked in with his posse. He didn't know what was so special about him but there was just this light around him as he stood at the other end of the room and talked and laughed. Chris wondered what that smile would feel like against his face but Chris wouldn't do anything about it.
This was Hollywood after all.
He would be eaten alive if he even looked at that guy. Alright, that was pushing it a little bit but that guy was probably an actor because everyone was an actor nowadays and Chris wouldn't be able to live it down if he went up to another guy. No matter how hot the guy was. Which he was pretty damn hot.
Feeling like a creeper, Chris eyed the guy up and down for what seemed like the tenth time that night. He was ridiculously tall, not much taller than Chris himself but that didn't stop his urge to climb the man. He had his hips canted so he could talk to everyone and that did amazing things to his body, his brown eyes crinkled whenever he smiled and he smiled a lot. If this guy smiled forever global peace could be acquired.
Chris just wanted and he couldn't push down the urge no matter what he put in his head. Chris wasn't that guy, he was just happy with casually dating (read: fucking) Hollywood starlet's just trying to make a living. He wasn't the guy who nursed a beer waiting for Prince Charming to come over and he certainly wasn't about to do it to someone else.
Out of the corner of his eye he saw some movement so he turned to see the two people: a girl and guy, of freaking course, started making out without any prompting at all. He was vaguely sure the guy was on the phone up to very recently.
Chris felt pain ache down to his very core again for umpteenth time that evening and something inside of him broke. Without any clue of what the hell he was thinking of doing he made his way across the bar and that was probably the longest walk in his entire life. It was longer than the worst walk of shame he's ever walked.
Once he got into view the guy looked up and watched Chris as he made his way, shamelessly mind you because Chris Pine's shame couldn't come to the phone at the moment, up to him. He didn't even hesitate just reached for the man's face and kissed him square on the mouth.
The guy didn't move for a second, just let Chris kiss his mouth and Chris' nerves were running on red alert. This was bad. He was kissing a guy and he was frozen in his seat. Chris was gonna get thrown out now. Suddenly the lips beneath his came to life and his own hands came up to cradle Chris' face in his hands.
Chris's hands went straight for the man's hair and their lips separated but they were still in each other's space, breathing heavily.
The man smiled and that right there was worth it. "Took you long enough," the guy breathed against Chris' lips. "My name's Zach by the way."
Chris noticed that all of Zach's friends had vacated the premises so it was just the two of them. Chris smiled back at him. "Chris," he introduced.
Zach smiled one more time but there were very dirty connotations in it. "Come here, Christopher," he growled and pulled Chris back to his mouth by the lapel of his jacket. Chris let Zach lead the kiss and couldn't help the moan that slipped out as Zach's tongue found its way into his mouth.
They stayed like that for hours, just kissing in a dark corner of the bar and when it was getting closer to closing time they eventually broke looking flushed. Chris thought that there was this l
ight surrounding Zach before but that was nothing compared to now. Zach's brown eyes bore straight through Chris's blue and if Zach asked Chris if he wanted to get out of there he would in a heartbeat.
Zach had a different question in mind.
He tilted his head and held out his phone. "Give me your number, yeah?"
Chris had never felt as explosive as when he was pushing the numbers into Zach's phone just knowing that he would get a call back.
