I would say Stacey is a strong woman feminist given the fact that she's female;-) What she isn't, however, is a hyper-feminine feminist, which is what I think you were alluding to. I think it would be impossible for somebody even remotely feminist to come out 100% girlish based on this quiz, because it is designed to capture stereotypical masculine and feminine thought and behavior. I came out 50-50, myself.

On a related note, I fully agree that not all stereotypes are negative. We use them to function in this world, but they have their limits because they are an oversimplification of certain groups that are then extended to individuals in that group. That's where the problem is with stereotypes (even positive stereotypes) because they do not account for individual belief and action. We had really interesting discussions about this in one of my women's studies classes...go figure...and a sociology class.

Also, it's interesting how much psychology is in advertising, but hey, it makes complete sense!:-) On that note, I heard you're graduating soon. Are you going to be done this year?
