Sunday and Glory Road

I woke up just in time to watch the football today...I could really get used to games starting at 12 instead of 1 thanks to the time change. the colts rolled over for the steelers, why do teams just keep doing that for them? i really wish i could respect the steelers but i know too many of their fans...i mean they played well, and deserved to win and all, but living in western pa breeds angst for them i guess. it was an entertaining game atleast and so was the later game. steve smith is sick, and by sick i mean nasty, and by nasty i mean good, really good.

tonight, we went to see "glory road." now i am very biased b/c of my unhealthy love for basketball and my heavy heart towards anything emotional at all...but it was a great great movie. it wasn't my typical kind of movie either...it wasn't all that funny, just a sweet story. all movies need a villian, and this movie's villian was adolph rupp...it made him and the whole school of kentucky out to be racists. but, maybe they were...who knows? it was basically "hoosiers" with black kids, so it dealt with a few different issues. i would highly recommend this movie, i almost cried at parts and i'm dead inside.

sorry i didn't have much for today...it was just a nice lazy sunday. happy mlk jr day and all
