It's A Technical Glitch, Cries Amazon!

A couple of sources confirm that Amazon is very sorry and is backing the sales ranking censorship off.

Argument in favor of it being a genuine technical glitch: It seems Amazon tried this two months ago and changed their minds. Somebody better check the effing changelog, quick ( Read more... )

3. Claim ignorance; everyone's on vacation; I just work here.
4. Two days later, issue official statement full of fail. "We don't think that gay material is appropriate for children. Not that we mean to suggest gays RECRUIT. That would be wrong."
5. Four days later, claim technical glitch.
