...so i ended up getting yet ANOTHER speeding ticket the other day.
that's two in one season.
piss me off, because these fucking pigs have nothing better to do than to so their ass down on top of a big hill and catch people for 'speeding' while going downhill. now, i dunno what all those physics classes in highschool have taught those idiots, but, if they were smart, they would know that a car goes faster when going downhill and its almost quite impossible to slow down when there are people behind you going the same speed.
but what's speed and velocity to them anyway. they gotta meet there mother fucking quota. i've never seen so many cops out in broad daylight on a friday. lemme tell you that i wasnt the only one that was caught by the same lazy fuck with the lazer radar. that's right a lazer radar that can somehow shoot a beam to your car and tell you how fast your going. fucking pigs.
so, you're probably all wondering, where has steve been? i'm sure you've heard it all before, but i'll say it again: i've been really busy. when it comes down to work, my band, shows, friends, and the girlfriend, its been hard to fit everything together in place. just on friday i played a show in oshawa and i'm playing another on tuesday with SOCIAL CODE. dat's right. i'm driving back forth, whether it be jamming, shows, or taking care of my furniture for the new house i moved into for school. i didnt even go to the warped tour on saturday. i broke the tradition. it hurt, but hey, getting drunk and high at my house with no one around is 10 times better, especially with all your friends.
yes, this summer has been a doozy, but, i'm kinda looking forward to school again. i'm excited to see what this new house is all about. and i also just wanna get school outta the way so i can finally finish paying off my debts. i'm trying to find a job during school so i can work that shizzle out.
