Oh man. DIY asian food rules.
Finally finished getting the Coffin Box Set. I'm stoked.
And at work today, I had my first huge slip-up at the bottom of the slide. Some little girl was with her dad in the huge mass of people that was waiting for adult break to be over, and I didn't see her to measure her, so she got down the slide even though she was probably two inches too short.
Of course, right after she got up there, my shift was over, so I only heard about the shouting match that ensued between the dad and the managers and the resulting refunds (ie loss of $15) about half an hour later. The managers bought the explanation for the most part... I mean, it's a perfectly legitimate reason, even though when they call you over to talk to you about it, you can't call any excuse legitimate.
Then about an hour later, the guy opposite me on the shift order got kicked out for being "off task at the baby pool". Shit, just yesterday I was at the (empty) baby pool playing catch with the lifeguard on duty with a rubebr glove filled with pool water. Gotta watch out for Adam (anal-as-all-hell manager boy), he's on the ultimate power trip.
Although I'm willing to bet the baby pool wasn't empty when the guy was "off task".
But I did stay on task on my one shift there after he got kicked out, even if on task means bouncing a super ball back and forth with a three-year-old standing at the edge of the pool. Sometimes I don't mind kids, this was one of those times.
Picked up like three sub days at the end of work today. My paycheck is gonna LOVE me this time.
Came home, watched A Fistful Of Dollars. Clint Eastwood is still the most badass motherfucker ever.
And tomorrow I might sleep in. Hooray.
