today was pretty cool. i went with markus to kantorei this morning, that was probably a mistake. it resulted in the 3 hour nap from 9 to 12...but seeing the choir was nice. so was seeing some teachers afterward and other friends. but the real fun was going kayaking with mark out at lake charlotte. its been quite a while since ive been out on the water, but today was definitely awesome. we didnt stay for too long but it was still fun. its amazing how quiet it is on the water...its one of the few instances where i really felt at peace with everything. the water was pretty calm, and the whole landscape was just beautiful. thanks again mark for inviting me! anyways after cleaning the kayaks at mark's house he showed me pictures of maine and kayaking there...a little bit jealous. although i suppose i have memories of montana to keep the same way...
anyway im totally ready to go back to emory. i mean it was nice to see all of my friends and the fam, but it just doesnt feel like home here anymore. im ready to go home.
