Spring Break Sketch Dump Part I
I tried to write an entry a few days ago, but LJ was being a little bitch, so I gave up and now I'm trying to post again. I actually have more than this, but I'll post it later since I don't feel like editing.
I was pretty prolific over the past few days.
Character designs for my novel, Love and Death in L.A. I think the labels are pretty self explanatory. Kate and James are siblings. Death can be quite terrifying for a tiny redhead.
Some more Terry Pratchett fan art. Vimes and Carrot waiting to speak to Vetinari, and the Vimes going off on a rant in the bottom half, from Jingo. Ah, Vimes, you're such a cynical, sarcastic bastard.
"Darling, I love you, but you snore." Ahaha, this one makes me giggle. I felt the need to draw some fluffy love stuff between James and Death. Basically, James has a bit of an insomnia problem, and can't sleep in his bed at all. Until Death comes along. With her around he sleeps like a baby. Unfortunately for her, he snores. This was partially inspired by an incident where a friend and I were sharing an air mattress, and I got trapped under his arm and he was snoring into my ear. Good times. I'm actually quite pleased with the shading in this one.
I like Maker's Mark, okay? I was very pleased when a friend gave me a bottle to take camping.
In other news, I'm on spring break! This just means I have time to catch up with all the stuff I've been putting off because of being gone and in school all the time. Whee.
