iPod!

So, I may be a little hyper right now, because HELLO iPod video, with all your super-shinyness and 30GB space for so much music I could possibly explode in glee! As I told the lovely Emma, it's pretty damn dinky compared to the earlier ones, and it's mine. I love technology. Until it goes boom, but right now LOVE ( Read more... )

Um... My recs are funnily enough, Mark based.

I rec:
Four Minute Warning
Believe in the Boogie
Hail Mary
Johnny
Sorry Lately
Ask Him To

His voice is a little whiny and takes some getting used too, but I do like them. Esp. Believe in the Boogie, as it's so about him and his 'fall from grace'.

I have no Mark mp3s thus far! HORROR. I shall download tout suite. Reminds me - must get Take That Greatest Hits CD out and onto iTunes. Hee. I found it in a drawer the other day, I was quite amused, no idea where the other CDs went, but I think Kirsty had snurched at least one.

If you want, I can upload their Ult. collection, with their new song, plus two of Marks albums tonight if you want?

They're Green Man (has Child and Clementine on) and How the Mighty Fall, which is his latest.

Still pains me to hear him sing songs high. Has a James Blunt quality too him then, which I don't like. lol

Yes to the albums, music is good, goooood stuff.

James Blunt, rhymes with... uh yeah, girlie singing isn't always appealing, eh? ;)

That's the thing, when I listen to his stuff I'm trying to decide if he can actually sing.

I know he can from his TT days, and some of his stuff sounds very good.

But he also has a high wavery voice in some songs or parts thereof, and then it sounds off to me. On some stuff it works, on others I really don't like it.

I've found with his songs it's a bit hit and miss. Nothing a few voice lessons couldn't fix though, I mean look at Kylie!

Didn't realise Belive in the Boogie was on the Mr & Mrs Smith soundtrack though! Wonder if it's in the film...

Am trying to think of what else to rec, but sadly I tend to regress with old stuff, and avoid all the shiny new, so I'd be no use there. LOL

Also, random, but I misses chatting to you on the old MSN. We must try to sync our online activity better. lol

I wouldn't know, I never got around to watching Mr and Mrs Smith, but getting on a soundtrack is good. Voice lessons are always useful, even those who have been around ages can learn something new.

I miss chatting too! I have such odd sleeping patterns I don't even sign in to MSN because I usually think everyone will be asleep. I will be on tonight hopefully, if the need to nap doesn't get me. I need coke ASAP.

LOL, you and me both. Plus BT disconnect me all the time now I'm on higher ADSL, as it likes to change the connection rate, so it seems my MSN doesn't even bother to sign in half the time now.

Cool. I'll be napping until 12 probably so I won't be on before then. I'm normally so tired on a Friday now that I just sleep right through. Saturdays are good though, I tend to be on until the early hours then. :)
