My husband and I are the metal elitists of the valley now. In the mail recently from Nordic Mission in Norway we got:
-Sletchvalk "At the Dawn of War"
-Vaakevandring
-Extol "Mesmerized"
-Extol "Paralysis"
Yum.
But apparently kids who told Steve last year that Sletchtvalk was the greatest band ever now are telling him they suck. As soon as a band becomes popular it is cool to hate them- happens in every scene. Happened to Norma Jean, As I Lay Dying, etc. Oh well, poo on them. Good music is good music. We met a girl at church on sunday who doesn't even litsen to metal but loves Extol because of their amazing musicianship. So there. Paralysis is the most amazing song ever.
Enough of my rant. Come to our show tonight:
