Saw the metal glory that is Extol last night. Shush, John. Just because they aren't predictable does not mean they aren't metal anymore hehe.
They sucessfully manage to be metal and emotional at the same time. And so loud my ears were ringing afterwards, but I didn't care cuz I had a smile ear to ear. AND they got the hair back! Oh yes. The sound check in Norweigan is always fun, too. And they make chic shirts now and I got me one *smile*.
Not only that, but the lyrics and emotions behind the new songs are straight worship anthems without being forced. I mean, they're on a *gasp* secular label now.

I will admit though the highlight was when they said they hadn't played any old stuff on this tour yet but they did for us- Celestial Completion! All this with Peter sick.
