I would write all about this weekend..but Steve did a great job so go read his livejournal (masticatus).
So the weekend was great, apart from having the worst pain I have had in a long time. The top and bottom teeth on the left side of my face had this pulsating pain...it felt like someone hit me. I cried on the way home in the car....haven't cried over pain since I was a kid. I didn't sleep the past 2 nights (and didn't realize how exhausted I was until I layed down to take a nap this afternoon and slept 3 1/2 hours). Also, over-the-counter pain medicine did nothing.
So today I didn't go to work and went to the dentist. I was in the office for nearly an hour and a half and all he did was take 2 x-rays, file down a filling that he said was the culprit, and prescribed 600mg ibuprofen. Apparently the filling in that tooth nearly reaches the nerve, and being over-filled...biting down on it over the course of the past 6 months since I had it done has aggrevated the nerve. He said I might improve with just what he did today...and if not...I need a root canal. The suck! Those things sound so scary. If the nerve is pulsating with pain now, what will it be like when they rip it out of my head? Hmm...I learned that I love novocain when I got my fillings done in Poland. It was kinda fun: one side of my face was numb and I would pinch it really hard and feel nothing, and then do it on the other side and it almost bled. Haha Im wierd.
I love and trust Steven 100%. I can't wait to be his wife in just a few short months (and to mpve outta this desert with him eventually hehe).
