Yo.

I exist.

And in Montclair, NJ, United States, The World, The Universe.

Now, from the comfort of my own dorm-room chair, I shall reveal the recent happenings of my life.

1. I officially am tired of Gen. Ed. classes. They're dumb. I wish I took music all the time. Piano and voice classes are definitely the best. Along with Theory. Aural skills hurts, but it's fun anyway. I have the best and funniest teacher for it.

2. I'm playing trumpet better. I've been trying to practice at least 1 1/2 to 2 hours a day, and I'm definitely seeing progress. I'm working on Haydn II, Ostransky's Concertino, and My Regards, if anyone is interested.

3. Wind Symphony owns. Dr. McCauley is the best band director I've had so far I think. He feels the music and explains things better than anyone I've had as a teacher here so far. "The distance between two notes is a lifetime of experience." Brilliance. We're playing Holst's First Suite, Holsinger's Liturgical Dances, Wilson's Peace of Mind, Grainger's Sussex Mummers Christmas Carol, and others, if anyone is interested.

4. Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man is not a bad book. In fact I think it relates a bit to me.

5. I was in the first MSU Concert of the Season, Kaleidoscope, in Wind Symphony and unofficially Jazz Ensemble. I sat in as 5th Trumpet on a tune. It was fun. We do it all again October 11, if you wanna come.

6. I met a girl named Nora, who is really cool. And funny. And smart. And nice. And pretty. And doesn't like tomatoes, but likes ketchup. And likes working with disabled kids. And plays saxophone. And likes jazz. And makes me happy. We hang out a lot. But that's ok, because we're dating.

7. I like talking like a small child sometimes. Like Stephen Dedalus. "Rats have two eyes to see with ..."

Anyway.

That's 7 things you can chew on.

Word.

I'm tired. And stuff. Got a gen ed. class tomorrow and ... oh yeah.

8. Joined the Radio Station WMSC 90.3 FM. I play real music. We have a bad signal. You probably won't be able to listen to it unless you go online to wmscradio.com. They play hardcore a lot. It scares me.

But, yeah, keep it real, everybody. I might come home sometime. To actually visit.
