Ok, so yesterday was Region band rehearsal at Monroe High, where the staff told us that the concert was going to be today at 1 because of the storm. Evidently, everything in cjmea was canceled this weekend and the concert is slated for this coming friday evening.
Anyway, they gave us a spaghetti dinner which cost us 6.50 each. Included was spaghetti, three meatballs, salad, a drink, and desert. All of us trumpets sat together and saw this lady pushing a cart with plates of cake on it (she was affectionately coined 'the cake lady'). We thought she was serving everyone regardless of whether they got a dinner or not. So she gets to our table (and we had already thrown our dinner plates away) and says, "How're you guys doin'? Y'all havin' a good time? Good!" and just passes us. So one of us, Brian, says, "Dude ... I think the cake lady just bitch-slapped us." Later Brian and I were like 'yo we paid for our cake. I want my freakin' cake' so we go over to the cake lady, and say something like 'can we have some cake? You came over to our table, said 'hi' and left.' So we got cake.
Later, the orchestra was rehearsing a piece we don't play in, so the director let us walk around. We went and got more cake.
Yo, it's snowing. That's hot(t).
