STEVEN SICK -- AEROSMITH CANCELS YET ANOTHER SHOW!!

Aerosmith has cancelled 6 shows so far. Steven is sick, his throat. On the AF1 message board someone posted shows are cancelled up until March 27th, but that remains to be seen, it could be just a rumor. And if it is true, I feel so bad for the people that had tickets for these shows.
I honestly think if Steven is that critical, they should cancel

I agree!

This isn't a popular opinion, I also feel like the band has perhaps gotten to a point in their lives where they need to take it easier on the road than they used to, and maybe they shouldn't attempt to schedule so many dates? I know that being one of the hardest-working concert bands out there has always been a big source of pride for them, but it takes a physical toll! I would rather that they cut back and schedule fewer shows than completely retire. I'd rather have an opportunity to see four or five shows a year than to see Steven completely destroy his voice. If Steven's under that much pressure to perform even though he's not feeling 100%, then the band is going to drive itself into total retirement.

Some people were also saying that instead of just having that 1 day after a show, maybe they need to take 3 days, of course it would extend the tour longer, but it would give everyone a chance to catch their breath.
Even my mom said they should cancel the rest of tour and when Steven is 110% better, go into the studio, record the new album, then go back out in late fall or early next year.
And you're right Em about them being the hardest working concert band, they put their heart and soul into each and every performance.
Let's just hope and pray that Steven gets better soon. =)

Yeah! 3-4 shows a week is a tough schedule! That's a lot of work and it's physically exhausting for guys in their twenties, let alone guys in their fifties!
