Stem Cell Research and Custard
ALLOW ME a tip of my imaginary hat to the House, who just passed a bill to loosen the restrictions regarding funding of stem cell research despite the threat of a Presidential veto. It passed 238-194; not the 2/3 majority needed to override the veto, should it come. Regardless, this is a step in the right direction, to be sure. Allow me to step up on a soapbox for a moment and point out that stem-cell research is one of the most promising avenues of scientific research at the moment. If you're pro-life, extend your benevolent views to encompass all forms of life.
