WAZZUP?!?!?!?!
Today, I had an ADVENTURE!!!! A Big, Dangerous, Mocha Late Adventure!!!! (Imagine the the word adventure spinning, shaking, exploding, getting bigger and smaller, that type of thing. K?)
I biked around Manotick!!!! Ok, it doesn't seem so exciting. But trust me. It was. And I took pictures. So I've decided to show you. My sister is doing a university term right now, and she asked me to take some pics of Manotick, since she's six hours away, but she has an assignment to do an ad for a place. So I was the picture-ographer...taker.
The Miller's Oven!
Where I work! I know, it's cool.
The Mill
Manotick's claim to fame. The only fully operational stone grist mill in eastern ontario. Yeah, we ARE cool.
Path to the river
Can't you just see an angel at the bottom of this, welcoming you from hell, darkness, the earth, to paradise? If you stare really hard, you can even imagine the side things are ladders, and it makes a crazy visual thing.
A. Y. Jackson Park
He lived here, you know.
The Mill
Yup, it's even more impressive than you thought.
Old Bridge meets New Bridge
Remains of the old bridge across the river, with the new concrete bridge behind it.
Manotick Main
That's the actual name of our main street. Which this picture is of.
Rideau River
That's half the river. It splits around the island of Manotick, which we are looking at.
My Bridge
My bridge. It goes over a stream. We call it "The Creek". I think its real name has something to do with mud.
Path to bridge over Creek
This is the nice path. It leads to the bridge. Over the mud. The Creek.
So, hope you like it, and come visit me. I'm lonely.
