so things are still moving, but i`m on a sockless break.
the baseball on friday night was great. holland beat cuba 7-1 and it was good fun. my first ever baseball match. the mascot reminded me of dancing homer. i think holland play cuba again today in the final but i can`t be there as i`ll be at metropolis.
yesterday we did shopping at lidl, then spent the afternoon at natasja`s parents because there was 2 family members over from australia. it was nice enough and they were good people. hardest part of the afternoon was so many language changes in mid sentence.
then last night we went to Breda Barst, a free music festival in Breda. It only started last night so there wasn`t much to see. Went because I was curious about Fishbone and as the Gathering headlined.
Fishbone were okay. They even played some songs i know which is impressive since i haven`t heard anything by them since 1999. The Gathering were fantastic again. Worth the 40 minute trip to see them alone.
They only played about 4 songs that aren`t on Souvenirs. All of the new songs just sound so strong live now. The bassist is very understated but he plays the perfect notes every time. We only got an hour and ten minutes, plus there were some annoying farmers standing in front of us for a while, but apart from that it was really good.
Today is Metropolis in Rotterdam. Finally a free festival within walking distance of my home. I`m looking at the schedule now. i think i`ll create a list for myself so I know what I have to do all day...

well there`s a lot of overlap for me to move around if something is crap. only real priorities are the thermals and electric 6. also a 2 hour gap around dinner time when it seems world music takes over. maybe i`ll come home for a break.
apart from that i`m very hungry and i have 3 horrid mosquito bites. one on my knuckles, one just below a fingernail, and and finally one right on my knee cap. we have the stupidest mosquito in the world living in the flat.
