Show was huge yesterday!
Im kind of confused as to exactly why it was huge but i seriously would love to have taken a poll out of those 420 people how many of them had and frequently used myspace... would have been interesting. Im going to take a stab in the dark and say %97 anyone have any other guestimates?
I had a lot of fun, and it was nice to see so many young faces... sure you can generalise and say that theyre mostly fake dudes and dudettes and that they have no clue about hardcore which they most probably dont, BUT if there is something that i have come to learn in my extensive time involved in the hardcore scene it is that you have to take the bad with the good and keep an open mind in regards to new kids, as hard as it may be sometimes.
The only reason im saying this is that i have noticed lately a lot of older dudes getting bummed out about the scene being taken over by myspace crazed adams family look alikes, and ive been there before.. but seriously if 300 kids ive never seen come to a show there HAS to be at least 3 that are sincere and honest, and genuinely there to have fun. This post is to appreciate the newer kids ive met (and havent officially met) at shows lately that deserve to be welcomed and not generalised against.

-the dude with the awesome beard that is edge and asks for XL merch all the time and never leaves his smile at home, sorry i cant remember his name!

-The tall young kid who was the only one to recognise our floorpunch cover, and is always by himself and super nice!
I dunno i am sure there are plenty more but those people are good.

EDIT- Before anyone gets on there horse and tries to call me out for being negitive about new kids in the scene in the past.. get over it. I still dislike sluts (male or female), i still disklike groupies (male or female), and I am just bringing this up because i was the bad guy when i decided i wasnt too syked on idiots coming to shows in past times, now it seems a lot of people who tried to make me stay positive have started to get bummed.
