So we finally got some info on the Playstation 3. Same old same old as far as I'm concerned, and they refused to answer the biggest question of all, the price. Rumors from one (uncomfirmed) site says the yen amount equals around $500, which sounds about right.
The bigger news for me personally is the price drop for the PSP, which happens to coincide with (a) my interest in it starting to pick up, and (b) a freelance job coming that may be able to pay for it. Very nice.
I'm digging my wifi. I like being able to browse things with ease. Unfortunately, my DS doesn't seem to be working to go (or stay, rather) online for gaming purposes, but oh well. My brother said he got it to work, but he may have only tested a connection, not actually playing through a race. I'll have to ask him sometime.
Miyamato seems to have confirmed long-held suspicions, so that ought to be cool. The Rev is the only system that I already know I'll be picking up near launch. Hear that, Sony? That's how you create good hype.
