Entre les murs - 'The Class'

I was thoroughly engaged by this pseudo documentary about a term/year (?) in a suburban Parisiene high school. Brave and non didactic could be used to describe it. I loved the complexity of the situation and the lack of moralising or indeed of any clear 'villains and heroes'. The shades of grey made it fascinating, as did the documentary style. The kids were particularly good. Many of the situations had personal relevance and added a whole new dimension.
