April Showers Bring May Flowers

^So true literally and metaphorically for me. I'm sick of the rain outside, and the crazy amount of work I have to finish before graduation, but I know it'll all be worth it. Soon enough the Sun will be out and I'll be a college graduate (and Erika will be here from Arizona!). I have so many plans for the summer. Road trip for Warped Tour, visiting New York, seeing Carey, and hopefully Becky and I can get our book club started soon.

I definately feel like there's no longer a negative aspect to my life (minus school work, but even that isn't so bad). I've spent so much time getting closer with my friends and making new ones that I can't even remember the last time I felt down on myself. I just wish everyone could feel as great as I do right now. Maybe it's just because I came out of a really bad period in life, but I've honestly never felt happier. I feel kinda bad everyone came back from Bamboozle with a complaint about someone bringing them down, especially since taking a trip with your friends is one of the funnest experiences ever, but I think in retrospect everyone had a good time.

I spent the weekend getting a full-time job with an environmental agency (which I'm quitting because the hours are a little too intense), helping Ashley and Heather move in a new couch, and surprising Yvette on her birthday. It felt really good to be with everyone, but I think the best part was seeing Yvette cry when we (Katie and I) walked through the door and thanking us a million times for being there. Special thanks to Sylwia, Maria, and Ashley for helping us keep it all on the downlow.

In other news, I think I've spent more time at Heather, Samm, and Ashley's apartment than my own house. Heather ends up making tons of desserts and crap but refuses to be in pictures with us :(. I have to get my Wii over there soon so we can all play Mario Party and Bowling and crap, though Ashley and I are pretty satisfied on our DS' for now.

Ellen and I went out to Katie recently for our hair check up. It was nice to catch up with her since we don't get to see each other very often, and we used to spend like, every day of summer together. Katie pursued her diabolical plot to make Ellen a total blonde, and we sat around the whole time gossiping about mutual friends.

Oh and of course, SIan and Katie threw another successful party. Sian was caught canoodling with a bearded man in the hallway, Ellen and Ashley went off with a bunch of boys to eat (again), and since the party was smaller we all got to hang out freely and it was just way more intimate than the other ones. Needless to say Jerome's birthday bash was a blast, except for the fact that there were nearly no pictures this time. I still can't believe I'm about to turn 20 and leave my teenage years behind.

Lastly, on a sad note, I think everyone should go send Roy a little nice message or something since he just crashed his Dad's car. Your first car accident is always the worst (after my fourth one the shock kinda wore off; now I just get annoyed), and driving after something like that is kind of a strange experience.

Love you guys, and I hope I see you all on Saturday!
