Setting: Vice Versa, Sunday night, 9 p.m. A young, semi-familiar looking gentleman approaches the bar. I'm sure I've seen him before, but never officialy met him.

HIM: Hey, where's everyone at?
ME: People don't really come in this early, so it's just me.
HIM: Oh, ok. (turns to leave)
ME: It should start picking up around 11:30 if you want to come back.
HIM: I would, but I don't have $5 to get in.
ME: (thinking to myself, "then why are you here now?") It's only $2 tonight.
HIM: Oh, really (awkward silence) Can I have $2?
ME: No.

Who seriously comes into a bar with no money for the cover charge and asks a bartender they don't even know to give them money. People are so odd.
