Things Accomplished in Fiction: I'm on the right track with my current approach. More show, leavened with character revelation.

Darling Du Jour: I’m not running away from anything. That’s not me. That’s Mom. She’s the one with a hole in her heart.

Things Accomplished in Real Life: Tackled the JM Wii fitness program this morning, after correctly setting and starting the sixth month resolution last night. Delayed the first workout by one day because the off days are on Monday and Saturday. That gives me UWG and volleyball days off.

Workout wiped me out to the point where I finished the multiple routines drenched in sweat. Some were even too difficult to complete. Only turned out 30-some bicycles rather than the 99 slated. So, first lesson learned this morning is pacing. I need more minutes between exercises.

Funniest moment was when I started the day's routine as Melissa left for work. The warmup is a 5:30 jog. Running is not my thing. The rush I'm riding right now, though, reinforces the benefits I'll find with this good workout.
