(no subject)
While I am definitely sure that there are other things more trying and enduring, video game launches are some of the harder things I've done in life so far. There's a lot of work that goes into getting a game out, and right before the launch, I've found myself staying late to get tasks done for the next day or two, or getting caught up with other work items so I can focus more on the launch during the day. It's pretty tough.
While I can't go into specifics on what I'm involved with it, I can say that it has me at the office later than usual, usually an hour at the least to a couple of hours at the most. It is what it is and after Thanksgiving, we should have some breathing room. Regardless, it seems as if the next week and the week of Thanksgiving are going to be my toughest yet for the rest of the year.
Hopefully, after Thanksgiving, I will get a chance to meet with Sarah for Christmas. Heck, even if it's nothing more than just getting a small Christmas Tree, a couple of lattes and a small present in a quiet place to sit down, that'll be more than enough.
