Broken Finger (open compound Fracher)
Still on west pak been out for about 9 months. Well not really on west pak any more but my ship is. I ended up getting a broken finger on the 12 of this month and have it in a brace but more then likely i will be going in for segury on thleast be able to finish my first term which will be up in January.ursday morning. I have an Open Compound Facher On my left index. Luckily no arteries were damaged just torn skin and swelling. My finger broke all the way through So beleive that their going to drill in some rods and wire till it heals. That way it will heal right. Not sure how this will effect me being in the navy hopefullyt it won't and i'll at least be able to finish my first term which is up in January. I am not sure when i will be flown to home port but i hope to be able to take some leave when i do. I haven't benn home for about a year and a half. Kinda miss it. Well let you know whats new when i can. i'll most likely be in sergury thursday when they'll put rods and wire into my finger to hold the bones together.
